An opportunity to share a good book and a light morning snack. Both parent and child should read the recommended book before the discussion date. Multiple copies of the book are available through inter-library loan at your request. Ages 8 and up. Please register in advance.

Films start promptly at 6:00 p.m. Early arrival is recommended. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Tonight's Film: The Edge of Heaven - In this German drama, six characters are drawn together by circumstances -- an old man and a prostitute forging a partnership, a young scholar reconciling his past, two young women falling in love, and a mother putting the shattered pieces of her life back together. Not rated.First of a four part workshop, in which The Rev. Alison Cornish will leads a discussion on world religions. With the help of the PBS series The Wisdom of Faith featuring Huston Smith and Bill Moyers, the group will explore the world’s major religions, their precepts and ideals, and the ways in which they are lived by their followers. It is recommended that participants read, The World’s Religions by Huston Smith. Multiple copies are available through interlibrary loan.
